Brent Hill announced as Director of Program and Head Coach for Selects Academy

Selects Academy at Bishop Kearney is so very pleased to announce that Brent Hill will be joining Selects Academy as Director of the program and Head Coach!

"Coach Hill is the right person to lead the program as we expand with a 19U team and continue to establish Selects Academy as the most respected program for elite hockey girls in the world!"

Brent has been the associate head coach at Merrimack College and with the D1 team since the inception of the program in 2013. Prior to Merrimack, Brent was an assistant coach at RPI for 4 years.

Besides being well respected in the college coaching ranks, Brent has a background in youth hockey having coached boys and girls Tier 1 teams. He's excited to return to that part of the game and is looking forward to supporting our mission in helping our Selects Academy student athletes develop and prepare for college hockey and academics!

During his time at Merrimack, Brent also had a stint with USA Hockey's National team program, having served as an assistant coach with the under-18 team in 2015, helping lead them to a gold medal at the IIHF World Championships.

For the past three spring seasons, Brent has served as a Selects Hockey coach with one of the U14 teams in the World Selects Invitational. He's also coached at NAPS with our Selects teams and Jr. Selects and worked our Selects Showcase. He is incredibly familiar with LEGACY Global Sports and the Selects Hockey program as a whole. We are all excited to have Brent working alongside the entire staff of Selects Academy at Bishop Kearney HS and to continue to build upon the first great Selects Academy season.
