2018 Tournament Recap

The 2018 World Selects Invitational in Philadelphia pitted two undefeated teams against each other in the championship game and the two powerhouses did not disappoint. After tying the game in the final minute of regulation, East Coast Selects-O scored in 3-on-3 sudden-death overtime to defeated RUSS 4-3 and win the U-15 World Championship.

The 2018 tournament featured 36 teams from nine different countries including the United States, Canada, Russia, Sweden and Slovakia, among others. The World U-15 Championships have had 88 players go on to become NHL Draft picks in the past three years and more than 200 Division-I NCAA commitments. The WSI-Philadelphia is the premier event of the season for '04-birth year players in 2019!
